Sapnabhramaṇ Jērusālēm by Bulbul Sarwar

The most requested golden dome in the world. Beneath which are the sacred black stones. There is the mystery of the soul, there is the pillar for tying the borak and the dome of ascension.

There is blood, there is destruction, there is the Crusades. There is the pardon of Omar, the glorious victory of Saladin, the glorious forty-foot-high Norr-wall of Sultan Suleiman. There are Queen Bilkis, Jezebel, Harem Sultan Roxalina. There are engineers Charles Warren, Illuminati’s Hiram Abif, and Hospitaller-Templars.

There is a weeping wall next to the second qibla. Jewish-barbarism is mixed with the cries of Nebuchadnezzar and Titus. There are superheroes and villains from Ibrahim to Ariel Sharon.

So the tension of that golden dome is eternal. Most of the world’s tourists travel there. That dream, that offering of love, hidden in the groove of many years – neither history nor an episode of hatred. This journey is incomplete without love; Meaningless.
