Short Description

Toiduchara Jhorna waterfall is another entertaining and pleasant waterfall among the green hills and wild forests in Khagrachari. Toidu is a Tripura word that means door of water and Chara means falls. Natural diversity and unique beauty of this waterfall have added a layer on it's demand to the tourists.

If you start walking from Jamtali of Dighinala to the hilly way, you will find this unusual natural incarnation after tracking 12 kilometers. It takes about 4-5 hours to reach at Toiduchara Falls. Specially, two waterfalls have been mixed here and this engrossing scene attracts the travellers or tourists most to come and see. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the district. The waterfall flows through the zigzag hilly ways.

Like others, this waterfall does not fall on the ground directly rather there are rocky or stony steps like staircases on the hills and water from 300ft high place falls on ground aesthetically. In autumn, rains fall over the hills and waterfalls and again the waterfall becomes full to the brim. Thus, it is the best time to go and have a tour to this delectable place. The path of going to the spot are filled with small and big stones. Somewhere while traveling a veil of dense greens and creepy plants tucked up from the trees are to be seen.

 

How to Go

  1. From Simana Para to Toiduchara Falls:-- If you want to start from Simana Para to Toiduchara Falls, then at first, you should go to Simana Para or by a CNG, bus Chander Gari from Sapla More of the town. From there, after taking a guide you can walk for the spot.
  2. From Dighinala to Toiduchara Falls:-- If you want to go from Dighinala to Toiduchara Falls, then at first, you have to reach to Dighinala by any transports from Sapla Mor, then should go Jamtali and from there, you will be able to go to the destination.
