Novo Air was first found in October 2007 by Tusuka Group. In 2013, they launched a commercial operation with Embraer 145 jet aircraft, which was later replaced with ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft.

Novo Air was first found in October 2007 by Tusuka Group. In 2013, they launched a commercial operation with Embraer 145 jet aircraft, which was later replaced with ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. In 2013, Novo Air also started the frequent-flyer program, called Smiles. In Bangladesh Aviation history it is the first time frequent-flyer program for domestic flights. Customers in the Smiles program get the privilege of priority services, waiting list priority, travel packages, special offers, and surplus baggage allowance.

Baggage Allowance: For both adult and children baggage allowance is 20 kg with maximum 2 pieces for both international and domestic flights, and hand carry can be maximum 7kg 1 piece. Charge for excess baggage kg is 100 for domestic flights and 120 for outbound and 140 for inbound from Dhaka to Kolkata and Kolkata to Dhaka respectfully.
