Nilamarket 300ft, Purbachal.

The place Dhaka has become very much crowded since the last few decades by the creation of large number of infrastructure and the coming of huge amount of people in this area due to job or other purposes. The green scenario or the nature is decreasing day by day. The park and other recreational area is also being less. So to relief from the daily routine monotonous life people find their way to visit some of the area which is not urbanized. One of the places like this is the Nila market. The place is located at the Purbachal.

The place Purbachal has become the place for recreation and a day visiting places for the people around here. Many people from the different part of Dhaka visit here on the festival like Eid, Pohela Boishakh, Valentine's Day or other national festivals with their private or hired vehicle. From the Kuril Flyover the vehicles need to move to the east side which means the 300ft highway.

The Nila market is around 15 minute drive away from the Kuril flyover. Before moving to this place they people need to pass two police check post for the security and safety. The place is generally a market with different themed restaurants and food places beside the Turag River. The restaurants are having all types of food items such as snacks, set menu, breakfast, lunch or dinner items. The food stalls and sheds are available with the pitha, snacks or drinks item. Every afternoon people are seen to be visiting this place with their friends and family to enjoy the view of the river, see the sunset enjoy the different types of food over here. During the time of festival the place becomes overcrowded with the people and huge traffic congestion can be seen over here. One of the attractions of this place is the sweet shop.

Large variety of sweets are available here. For example Roshmalai, Chomchom, Balishmishti, Shondesh, Sponge sweet, Kalojam, Golapjamun etc are available here. Many people from different places visit here to taste the wide ranges of sweets because these sweets are not available in a place together. In the evening time different types of kebab and grill items are freshly being made and served over here. Anyone can come to this place with their friends and family to spend quality time over here by escaping from daily monotonous life. It is recommended to leave the place if anyone is availing hired vehicle but the people who are using personal vehicle can stay late at night over here.
