This place has a tremendous charisma that will blow up your mind. The territory has to be every historical place lovers paradise. Dalal Bazar Zamindar Bari is situated on the south- west side of Lakshmipur mouza. The palace covers almost 5 acres of land. With the main palace, there is a royal gate, an indoor courtyard along with its pond, and much more notable infrastructures. A businessman named Lakshminarayan came to Dalal Bazar to have his own clothing business and succeeded as well. His son Brazballav expanded the business. Later, his adopted son Gaurav Kishore went to Kolkata to study and came in touch with the East India company. The heiress of Lakshmi Narayan acquired the marketable mechanism and zamindari of the East India Company.  Since living a saleable envoy of the East India Company, the inheritor of Lakshmi Narayan Vaishnavism has been referred to as 'Dallas' by the locals.


Gobindakishore also took the ' Raja' title in 1765. Gobindo Kishore and his son Nalinikishore were successful zamindars. They even built the Dalal Bazar N. K. High school, Charitable hospitals, temples, and many more to help the local people. The Zamindar Bari has a spectacular indoor courtyard, iron beams weighing a few tons, huge iron chests, dance halls, outdoor courtyards that carry signs of our history with them.

How to go

From the Sayedabad bus terminal in the capital Dhaka, several methods of transport encompassing Greenland Express, Albaraka, Alam, Royal, Econo, and Dhaka Express depart for Laxmipur.  It takes 4/5 hours to go to Laxmipur from Sayedabad.  The bus fare from Dhaka to Laxmipur is 400 to 600 rupees per person. It will cost approximately Tk 10 to rent CNG from Laxmipur bus depot to go to Dalal Bazar zamindar's house. Google map: click here
